After24 hours, a white layer will appear which will protect furthercorrosion of metal / steel for about 5-7 days. Before applyingprotective coating, the surface should be wire brushed andthoroughly cleaned for dust with dry cloth.Removal of rust and mill scalePrewet the fl oors, then using a stiff bristle broom, brush the aff ectedareas with a solution of Reebaklens RR cleaning agent andwater. Strength of the solution required will vary but should bebetween 1 : 1 and 1 : 4 (Reebaklens RR cleaning agent towater).When the action has fi nished, wash down thoroughly with cleanwater. Wire brush again to remove remaining loose materialand fi nish by thoroughly washing down with clean water. Repeatif necessary. High degree of rust or scale can be removedby soaking in the Reebaklens solution for 60 minutes.
